Impact of magnetic domains on magnetic flux concentrators

چکیده
The impact of magnetic domains in flux concentrators is studied using the simulation software MuMax3. First, parameters are validated experimental results from force microscopy; second output benchmarked with one obtained Comsol Multiphysics. Finally, domain assessed, showing how micromagnetic effects can become relevant, if not dominant, when scaling gap between MFC and sensor.

Magnetic Flux Cancellation and Coronal Magnetic Energy
I investigate the processes at work in the cancellation of normal magnetic flux in solar magnetograms and study the relationships between cancellation and the budget of free magnetic energy in the coronal magnetic field that can power solar flares and CMEs. After defining cancellation mathematically, I derive equations that quantify the evolution of free magnetic energy in response to arbitrary...

Recent progress in the theoretical understanding of magnetic anisotropy and stiffness in III-V magnetic semiconductors is exploited for predictions of magnetic domain characteristics and methods of their tuning. We evaluate the width and the energy of domain walls as well as the period of stripe domains in perpendicular films. The computed stripe width W51.1 mm for Ga0.957Mn0.043As/In0.16Ga0.84...
متن کاملMagnetic flux transport on the sun.
Although most of the magnetic flux observed on the sun originates in the low-latitude sunspot belts, this flux is gradually dispersed over a much wider range of latitudes by supergranular convective motions and meridional circulation. Numerical simulations show how these transport processes interact over the 11-year sunspot cycle to produce a strong "topknot" polar field, whose existence near s...
متن کاملActive Negative Inductor Based on Magnetic Flux
An active circuit is described that exhibits the equivalent reactance of a negative inductor. In contrast with previous techniques based on negative impedance converters, the negative inductance is produced by generating an opposing time-varying magnetic flux. The new circuit also enables the inductance to be electronically varied between negative and positive values, can enhance the Q, and def...
